5. Fair CPU Usage Policy
CPU Usage Guidelines
To maintain consistent performance and service reliability across our VPS infrastructure, VM6 Networks enforces a Fair CPU Usage Policy. Each VPS is permitted to utilize up to 100% of its assigned CPU core(s) for short bursts not exceeding 45–60 minutes per day. Under normal operating conditions, sustained usage should remain below 65% per core to ensure fair access for all clients on the host node.
Excessive or continuous high-load activity—such as CPU-intensive background tasks, mining operations, or unoptimized scripts—may result in automated throttling, temporary suspension, or a recommendation to upgrade. VM6 Networks actively monitors CPU usage and reserves the right to take corrective action to preserve node stability and service quality.
6. Fair Bandwidth Usage Policy
Fair Usage Traffic Policy
At VM6 Networks, we offer high-speed connectivity across our UK VPS Hosting plans, designed to deliver exceptional performance and flexibility for all workloads.
To maintain a consistent experience and fair resource distribution across our infrastructure, we apply the following Fair Usage Traffic Policy:
- All UK VPS plans include a 10Gbps port with a guaranteed minimum of 5Gbps.
- VPS hosted in Maidenhead are provisioned with a 1Gbps port due to upstream limitations.
- Each VPS has a monthly traffic allowance based on its plan tier.
- Once the monthly traffic allowance is exceeded, the VPS connection will be rate-limited to 2Mbps until the next reset.
- You can purchase additional traffic via the Client Area to restore full speed at any time.
- Traffic allowance resets monthly from the original purchase date of the VPS.
