We’re excited to introduce a new set of self-service management features for Dedicated Servers at VM6 Networks. These updates are designed to give customers greater control, faster access, and improved visibility over their dedicated infrastructure — all directly from the VM6 client area.

What’s New?
Customers with dedicated servers can now manage key server functions without waiting for support intervention, including:
🔄 Server Power & Recovery
- Instant server reboot
- Boot into rescue mode for troubleshooting
- Full operating system reinstall when required
🌐 Network & IP Management
- Update reverse DNS (PTR) records
- Manage assigned IP addresses
- View detailed traffic and bandwidth usage graphs
These tools allow faster response times for maintenance, diagnostics, and configuration changes.
Beta Release Information
These features are currently released as part of a beta programme. While the core functionality is stable and actively in use, we may continue refining the interface, performance, and feature set based on real-world usage and customer feedback.
We recommend taking care when performing disruptive actions such as OS reinstalls or rescue mode operations, especially on live production environments.
What’s Next?
This update is part of our ongoing effort to enhance automation, transparency, and control for our hosting customers. Additional features and improvements are already planned as we continue developing our dedicated server platform.
